Refurbished Devices - 12-Month Warranty

All our refurbished devices come with a 12-month warranty. This warranty ensures that you can enjoy your device with confidence, knowing that we cover any potential hardware defects that may arise during normal use within the warranty period.

Warranty Details:

• The warranty provided is a Return to Base (RTB) Warranty. This means that, if a defect covered by the warranty occurs, you are responsible for safely returning the device to our facility at your own cost. We will then repair or replace the item, as appropriate, and send it back to you.
• Damages Not Covered:
  • The warranty does not cover any damages caused by the buyer. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Water damage or liquid spills
    • Physical damage, such as drops, cracks, or breaks
    • Any other form of accidental damage or mishandling
  • Intentional misuse or unauthorized modifications to the device will also void the warranty.
• Battery, Charger, and Software Limitations:
  • After the first 30 days from purchase, issues related to the battery, charger, or software are not covered under warranty.
  • Battery issues, such as reduced capacity, are often caused by user actions like overcharging or improper usage.
  • Problems arising from software installation, especially due to downloading unsafe or unverified software, are also not covered since these can compromise the device's performance and security.

We recommend that all customers handle their devices carefully, avoid contact with liquids, and ensure only safe and necessary software is installed to maintain optimal device health.

Used Devices - 14-Day Return Policy

Devices categorized as "Used" come with a 14-day return policy. This means:

• If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the device within 14 days of receiving it, provided it is returned in the same condition as when it was purchased.
• This return policy does not include a long-term warranty, meaning that once the 14-day return period has passed, no further warranty coverage applies.

Conditions for Returns:

• The device must be returned in its original condition, without any additional damage or signs of misuse. It must include all accessories that were originally provided.
• If the device is found to have any damage caused by the buyer, we reserve the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.

Additional Information

• Shipping Costs for Warranty Returns: As this is an RTB warranty, any costs associated with shipping the device back to us for repairs or replacement must be borne by the customer. We will cover the shipping cost to return the repaired or replaced device back to you.
• Limitations on Coverage:
  • Warranty coverage does not extend to damage due to negligence, accidents, or any issues arising from unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Cosmetic issues, such as scratches or dents, are not covered unless they were reported at the time of delivery.

• Please back up all your data regularly. In case your device requires repair, EcoLaptop.co.uk is not responsible for data loss. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any personal data is backed up before sending the device in for service.
• Ensure proper use of the device, including following recommended charging practices and avoiding the installation of unverified software that may compromise system integrity.
