The HP ScanJet Pro 2500 f1 is a versatile A4 duplex document scanner combining a flatbed scanner with a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). Designed for offices, businesses and professional document workflows, it provides a practical solution for scanning single documents as well as multi-page paperwork efficiently.
The integrated Automatic Document Feeder supports duplex scanning, allowing both sides of compatible documents to be captured automatically. With scanning speeds of up to 20 pages per minute / approximately 40 images per minute in duplex mode, it is suitable for regular office document digitisation.
The flatbed scanner provides resolution of up to 1200 × 1200 DPI, making it suitable for detailed scanning of documents, photographs and other originals that may not be suitable for the ADF. The ADF provides up to 600 × 600 DPI resolution for everyday document scanning.
The scanner supports 24-bit colour and 256-level greyscale, allowing it to capture colour documents, charts, diagrams, photographs and standard monochrome paperwork with good tonal detail.
The 50-sheet ADF allows multiple pages to be loaded at once, reducing the need to manually place each document on the scanner. It supports a useful range of document sizes and paper weights for typical office scanning applications.
The ADF supports documents up to approximately 8.5 × 122 inches (216 × 3100 mm), allowing long documents to be processed. It can handle paper weights from approximately 60–105 g/m², making it suitable for standard office paperwork.
The scanner also supports smaller ADF originals down to approximately 3.5 × 5.8 inches (89 × 148 mm), providing flexibility when scanning a range of document formats.
Connectivity is provided through USB 2.0 for direct connection to a compatible computer. With approximately 64MB of memory and a recommended daily duty cycle of around 1,500 scans per day, it is suitable for regular office and document-management workloads.
